2. What data we process and why

Browsing data

When you visit the site, the server automatically records some technical information: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. It is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: as long as needed for security and in any case no longer than 12 months, unless needed to investigate a crime.

Requests for information, catalogues and «Become a dealer»

If you fill in one of the forms we collect your name, surname, email, telephone, country, profession, your message and, for catalogues, which catalogue you want. We use them to reply, send you the catalogue or assess a dealer partnership. The request reaches us by email and a copy is kept in the site database.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Retention: as long as needed to handle the request and any relationship that follows; if no relationship follows, we delete them within 24 months of the last contact.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter we use your email address to send you news about Luxopera products, projects and events.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to jessica.caselli@luxopera.net. Retention: until you unsubscribe.

YouTube video and Google maps, only with your consent

The home page shows a video hosted on YouTube and the Contacts page two Google Maps maps, services of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) that use their own cookies. We load them only if you accept «External content» in the cookie banner; otherwise you see a photograph or a box in their place. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023).
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can withdraw from Cookie preferences.

Social links

The links to Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are plain links, and the Instagram pictures on the home page are copies stored on our server: no data reaches those sites until you click.

3. Do you have to give us your data?

No. But without the data marked as required in the forms we cannot answer your request.

4. Who sees the data

  • The controller and the authorised people who work with Luxopera.
  • ECM di Tacchi Alessandro (Via Yuri Gagarin 169, 61122 Pesaro, Italy), who runs the site and the server, and OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), who provides the server for the site and the email: they act as processors. The servers are in the European Union.
  • Google Ireland Limited, only for the YouTube video and the maps, and only if you consented.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell or pass on your data to anyone.

5. Automated decisions

We make no decisions based solely on automated processing and do no profiling.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format and object to processing based on legitimate interest; you can withdraw any consent you gave without affecting what was done before (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Write to jessica.caselli@luxopera.net: we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority of your country.

7. Cookies and changes

The cookies used by the site, and how to choose, are explained in the cookie policy. If we change how we process data we update this page and the date at the top.
